Canadian Nationals kidnappers granted bail with a sum of Ghc200 each
The four Accused Persons standing trial before Accra High Court over the kidnapping of two Canadian women have been granted bail with a sum Gh¢200,000 each.
With the conditions of the bail, one of the sureties must be justified while Abdul Nasir, Abdul Rahman Suleiman, Seidu Abubakar and Safianu Abubakari must also report to Kumasi central police every Monday.
The case which was presided over by Justice George Buadi has been postpone to August 12/08/19.
The accused persons were granted bail following a bail application by their lawyers.
The Canadian victims are Lauren Patricia Riley and Miss Bailey Jordan Chilly.
The remaining accused persons are Yusuf Yakubu, Elvis Ojiyorwe, Jeff Omarsar and Sampson Aghalor.
They have been charged with two counts of Conspiracy to kidnap.
