IMG_2254CARIDAD in collaboration with organized a charity event on Thursday 30th July this year. the concept was to visit a village school to feed them and donate books on their vacation day. Vacation days in Ghana are popularly known as “Our day”. We chose a village school in Ada on an island called Kewunor. the population of the school is 220 with 10 teachers in all. This school was started by a philanthropist who wasn’t highly educated but had the passion to help the community.By and By they got publicity and others helped to build the school and government posts its teachers there. They will have their fist candidates to write BECE next year

We went there and gave them food and drinks on their vacation and to spend sometime with them. a form of encouragement for these children to come to school. a memory created in the hearts of children will last long. we helped them in a refreshing way and encouraged them to attend school more often. some pictures are available and you can reach CARIDAD on 0243182790 for any assistance in organizing your charity event.
