Celebrities Ready To Face Black Stars On Sunday

Ghanaian movie and music personalities are on a bragging spree ahead of the much-anticipated ‘Stars Soccer Fiesta’ scheduled to come off on Sunday, June 21 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

This year’s edition of the ‘Star Soccer Fiesta’ will feature a number of celebrities from Kumawood and music personalities who will team up to take on the Black Stars.

Celebrities such as Samini, Amakye Dede, Agya Koo, Lil Win, Akrobeto and a host of others will face a strong Black Stars line-up such as Asamoah Gyan, Baffour Gyan, John Boye, among others.

The event is being organised to raise funds to support the National Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

In related development, the management of the Asamoah Gyan Foundation, in collaboration with Kwabena Kwabena Heart Foundation, yesterday paid a familiarisation visit to the National Cardiothoracic Centre and later donated cash to support its activities.

The two foundations will also donate to the Anatomy Department of the School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences to help improve teaching and learning.
