Chairman Wontumi in trouble, as Ibrahim Mahama drags him to court over ‘loose talk’

Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, a businessman and a brother of former president John Dramani Mahama has sued the Ashanti Regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party Bernard Antwi Boasiako.

Ibrahim Mahama is demanding Five Million Ghana cedis as damages if the court finds Chairman Wontumi guilty.

Mr. Ibrahim Mahama says Chairman Wontumi used his media house to peddle falsehood about him and defamed him. So he has filed a defamation suit against him at the High Court.
