CHECK! WHATSAPP TO STOP WORKING ON YOUR PHONE?

A popular instant messaging app,WhatsApp has hinted that from February 1st it would no longer be working on certain devices.

Scores of people now depend on whatsApp for communication. In academic institutions, it has become very normal for students to share with their supervisors the dissertations through this medium against the old method of using emails.

The amalgamation of features on this app makes it the obvious choice for people: an opportunity to do a voice call, voice note,video call,sending and receiving pictures,videos and messages.

However, the facebook- owned app says it would no longer be working on Smartphones using Android 2.3.7 and older, and iPhone iOS 8 or older.

If you fall within this category you have to save money to buy an upgraded phone to continue enjoying the many features whatsApp provides.
