Christmas gift to ‘Voltarians’

Residents from the Volta regional capital, Ho, were showered with simply an awesome Christmas present from Rapper Edem.

Residents started their Christmas festivities on an exciting note as the rapper together with his VRMG crew and other Ghanaian artistes thrilled them with good music at his Books and Rhymes concert.

The concert which took place at the Ho Polytechnic auditorium saw hundreds of patrons in attendance.

Edem explained that his Book and Rhymes album tour is a nationwide tour and starting off in the Volta region, his home region, is just the right thing to do.

It is the best way to appreciate my people for their great support since I started my music career, he said.

The concert saw 19 artistes performing on one stage giving fans and patrons the best Christmas gifts ever.

Joining Edem on the night were Raquel, Lil Shaker, Gemini, and Dancehall act Episode who subsequently caught the attention of the whole Volta region with his energetic stage performance.

Other local acts from the Volta region were also given the opportunity to exhibit their talent and they, no doubt, did not take it for granted.

Typical of Edem, he gave exactly to fans and patrons what they yearned for performing some of his hits songs from his old and new albums.

The concert was described by patrons as the best Christmas gift ever from the musician and that, this year couldn’t have been any better for the people in the Volta region.

Meanwhile the rapper has disclosed that this is just the beginning of new and exciting things to come next year.

He advised fans and all Ghanaians to stay safe and stay out of trouble during the yuletide.
