Concede defeat now if you don’t have evidence – Gabby Asare Otchere Darko advises Mahama

A leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, has advised the presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama to concede defeat now if he knows he has no evidence that the election was rigged.

In a Facebook post he said, the former president should stop deceiving his followers before they cause any harm on the streets. He wrote:

“Dear John,
If you know you don’t have the evidence to go to court please concede now. Stop deceiving your supporters now before any gross harm is done. The real contest on both sides is on parliamentaries. You know it”
