She took Ghana by surprise last year when she showed her face in the biggest Television reality show in Africa, Big Brother Amplified, and she has become the most popular and most respected housemate to represent Ghana so far in the BBA house.
Today, the name Confidence Haugen has become a house hold name in show business in Ghana. Call her “The Party Animal”, the crazy woman, the African woman, the business woman and Confidence can’t just stop doing amazing things. Peacefmonline.com is reliably informed that the ever changing Aphrodisiac Night Club CEO is coming up with a Television show which will tickle the imagination of Television viewers in Ghana.
According to a close source, this is something very dear to Confidence and she intends to really make an impact in Ghanaian society and on the African Continent. When Peacefmonline.com visited Confidence at her Djorwulu residence, she confirmed that she is working on an upcoming Television Show of which she is going to be the permanent hostess but she refused to give us details.
“I can assure you that the show is not the everyday celebrity-based TV show currently on our screens. I want to use the show to talk about serious issues which seems to be ignored in our society. It will be, educative, entertaining, very touching and sometimes very controversial. The show will telecast everything that happens in the typical African society,” she said.
Asked what the name of the Show will be and the kind of show it will be, Confidence said everything will come out in due course. She however added that she is going to talk about real life stories so; she wants to give the public an opportunity to share their real life stories, on the show.
“anybody with true stories and real life experiences ranging from issues of rape, HIV Aids, Witch craft, family issues, death, birth, celebrities and their life style, sexuality, Religion, Marriage or any thought provoking and touching stories to share with the world, should sent them to info@talkofgh.com,” she stated.
Peacefmonline.com further research revealed that Confidence is done with putting together the production crew, and shooting is expected to begin in a few weeks. We are also informed that the crew will be a full Ghanaian crew with support and consultancy from foreign Producers.
According to sources some Television stations are already in talks with the reality TV star to show her upcoming show on their platforms. After she was evicted from the BBA house in what she calls “Eviction with dignity”, she said a lot of things that she had planned to do including; setting up a foundation, expanding her night club, coming up with a TV show among other things and she seem to be on track.
She first opened a new branch of her club in Kumasi in December 2011, set up her foundation “Project Smile” and made several donations to the children’s wards of the major hospitals in Accra, and now what is next appears to be her own TV show. |
