Congolese music icon – Aurlus Mabélé supposedly perishes from COVID-19
Congolese music star Aurlus Mabélé has died in hospital in France’s capital Paris. He was aged 67. Some posts on social media from friends and relatives suggest that he died of Coronavirus, at least per the weirdest speculations now.
His daughter, French singer Liza Monet, tweeted that her father had died of coronavirus. “I am inconsolable,” she wrote.
A member of the supergroup Loketo of which he belonged, Mav Cacharel, also wrote on Facebook that he died of coronavirus.
His manager, Jimmy Ouetenou, however, told the BBC that it was not confirmed he died of coronavirus stating that the music icon had long-term health problems which might have deteriorated over time.
