Consistency Is A Fallacy – Comedian Augustin Dennis Reveals

Malaysian borga who doubles as a Ghanaian based comedian, Mr. Augustin Dennis has begged to differ from opinionated stance of others who feel there’s a philosophy dubbed consistency. Ideally, when one follows a particular trend for a while, the idea of becoming well abreast with the way of things in that particular field is experienced.

Well, the comedian feels that this is just a myth like many other stuff. His reason for such an assertion was elaborated in a social media post.

The comedian divulged:

***Consistency is a myth..each passing day brings new changes within us;in terms of views,ideas,growth or sentiments..So that each day is a chance to cast a backwards glancing eye to where we were and where we are headed.

Never be too afraid to show that evolution in thought and heart. After all,we are not just one thing..we are multifaceted. Our lives should be like tiles of a mosaic.

And yet, there seems to be this collective perverse joy we derive from seeing people trip over themselves in their attempts to be new, different versions of what they once were.

Social media abets this dynamic: laden with trolls,unsavory remarks couched as ‘jokes’ so that that real authentic self that was straining to come out,recedes into the background and then in its place,a false, more shiny veneer is presented…

If growth was venerated as much as perfection is romanticized,we will have more people showing their authentic selves.***
