The world is still battling the Novel Coronavirus pandemic as a supposed second wave has been reported in other places. Most countries have had to deal with severe financial issues because of this canker. Many Africans with lower level of health expertise and few health facilities have struggled to keep up with the extreme havoc caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
But, the infections in Africa is not as extreme like that on different continents. Even though health experts have attributed this to the warm weather in Africa, others have entirely different ‘excuse’.
Reacting to this, Bishop Charles Agyinasare has linked the low number of positive Covid-19 cases in Africa to the intervention of prayers made by Christians against the spread of the virus on the continent.
According to the outspoken clergyman, the lack of adequate healthcare facilities and support systems meant that we had to put our hope in a Higher Power to keep us safe from the threat of the virus. And so, fervent prayers were offered to God in that regard.
