COVID-19: Doctor at LEKMA Hospital tests positive
A certified medical doctor at the LEKMA Hospital has reportedly tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, the Ledzokuku Constituency legislator, Dr. Bernard Oko-Boye has revealed.
According to him, the doctor whose name is withheld for security reasons has been counted by the Ghana Health Service in the number of cases recorded in Ghana.

Dr. Oko-Boye in a report by Joy News indicated that the hospital which is within his constituency will be shut down for disinfection today, March 31.
The medical officer is the first frontline medical staff known publicly to have contracted the disease after allegedly attending to countless pregnant women in his designated facility.
As of the time of filing this report, Ghana’s case count still stands at 152 with five deaths and two recoveries.
