(COVID-19): Hon. Ken Agyapong shares 200,000 nose masks, gloves and other stuff

Seasoned politician and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has donated 200,000 nose masks and hand gloves to Ghanaians through the Ministry of Health to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The generous Member of Parliament donated about 4000 nose masks to Ridge Hospital last Friday, 20th March 2020 in line with his commitment to fight against the spread of Coronavirus.

Speaking to the media after the donation, the Honourable Member of Parliament for Assin Central said:

‘’This coronavirus pandemic is no joke. If we don’t tackle it now and it gets serious, many Ghanaians will be affected and die. That is why I have decided to donate these items to help in the fight. President Akufo-Addo’s Government is doing very well in this fight but those of us who can help should also contribute our quota to help root out this dangerous virus’’.

Speaking on his Net2 station, he explained that this is not the time for NDC or NPP issues but a collective effort to salvage the situation.
