(COVID-19): Mass disinfection exercise to be conducted in Kumasi markets

The Ministry of Local Government as part of the government’s efforts to manage the spread of the deadly Coronavirus has indicated via the Ashanti Regional Minister’s office that mass disinfection exercises would be conducted in all markets within Ashanti Region tomorrow.

The authorities had conducted a disinfection exercise in 136 markets and other commercial parts of the Greater Accra Region some days ago and it’s now the turn of Ashanti Region (Kumasi and other places).

The minister in charge of Ashanti Region, Mr. Simon Osei-Mensah unveiled this in a wordy letter entreating all and sundry to cooperate with the Ministry of Local Government and other concerned authorities to get the fumigation exercise completely done on Friday.
