Disregard Fake Arrest Warrant – Ghana Police Service

Ghana Police Service Write:

The attention of the Police Administration has been drawn to the attached warrant of arrest purportedly issued by the Police and wishes to state that:

a. the said warrant on social media is fake.

b. there is no such designation in the Police Service as Deputy Communications Director.

c. The Police Administration urges the public to disregard the said social media publication and further warns that publication is false news with intent to cause fear and alarm is an offence.

The Police Administration thereby encourages the general public to cooperate with the Police and other Security Services to help in the enforcement of the restrictions order in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease in the country.
