338866653_967720A group of the entertainment industry who started the movement known as Creative Arts for Change in solidarity of NPP`s presidential candidate Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo in last year`s elections are still active like never before.

Flex newspaper is reminding followers of the arts industry that their interest has not dwindled a bit and that they are preparing hard to celebrate Nana`s victory should the tables turn after the supreme court`s sitting.

Last week Wednesday was marked by some leaders of the movement as a reunion day as they visited Nana Akuffo Addo at his Kuku Hill office in Osu as a sign of re-affirmation of their support since the elections results was announced by electoral commissioner boss Mr. Afari Gyan. In attendance was veteran music producer Mr. Mark Okraku Mantey of Slip Music, Mr. Fred Kyei Mensah of Minor Rhythms and Fredyma Studios and veteran actress and movie producer Hellen Omaboe.

In their solidarity message which was given to Nana Akuffo Addo two days prior to his 69th birth day which fell on Friday March 29th, they assured Nana Akuffo Addo of their continuous support and their prayers for him to be made the president of this country in some few months to come.

“Many people wonder how you are doing under this circumstance of our trial period as a country. We always tell them you are doing well but we feel it is now time we come to you as a supporting group for you to know we are still with you in whatever you are doing. We still believe in your ideas and policies as a political person and we are glad to meet with you once again” Okraku Mantey said this whiles exchanging pleasantries with Nana Akuffo Addo.

Happy and energetic looking Nana Akuffo Addo also received the team and their media entourage with smiles where he told the group that he really appreciates their kind gesture and the faith they still have in him as a political figure.

When Nana Addo was asked whether there will be any special celebration on that special day, he answered that he would want to take it cool and like seriously the birthday was celebrated on a cooler note.

In other developments, Mark Okraku Mantey is on record to have said that Nana Addo would have given a whooping amount Ghc.10,000 to the arts industry if he had been voted as the president of Ghana. Whether that assertion is true or not, only time will surely tell.
