Readers can recall that a few days ago, MTN sent their customers various messages, pleading with them to be patient with their management as a result of some network challenges. They claimed that there was a fibre cut from certain parts of their cables overseas.
When MTN Ghana finally solved the situation, consumers were quite happy with their relentless effort to salvage the situation timely. Businesses were halted as a result of the bad network. To compensate consumers, MTN has dashed 2GB worth of data to all and sundry. This free data is not being appreciated since it’s even slower than a sick tortoise.
See the said message informing customers of the free 2GB:
Customers are therefore accusing MTN of intentionally making their network system slow to frustrate customers to the extent that they will buy their own data.
