Former England captain David Beckham is to lead a campaign against to stop the spread of Ebola in West Africa. The 39 year old UNICEF Ambassador will appear in a video focusing on ways to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
President for the Sierra Leon Football Association, Isha Johansen broke the news of Beckham’s involvement to the Sun.
“To have David Beckham involved in this campaign is massive for us and we are so grateful to him,” said Johansen.
The video will feature Beckham highlighting the importance of cleanliness in controlling Ebola and will be shown across West Africa.
