Davido reveals his unconditional love for his late mother
Nigerian singer Davido shared a throwback photo of his mother on his social media handle and thanked her for protecting him despite not being part of the living.
“LOVE U MOMMY!! !!! I KNOW ITS YOU THAT IS PROTECTING ME!!!!! I KNOW!!!! I LOVE U!! UR SON GALLANT DIE!!!!!!!! RIP!!!” – he wrote.
The Nigerian singer’s mum was born in 1963, loved music and was owner of a record label. Veronica was also
part of a band named “David’s Band.” She was also a lecturer at Babcock University in Osun State.
Davido’s mother died on March 6th, 2003 aged 39. Coincidentally, that was her husband, Adedeji Adeleke’s 40th birthday.
