Depression is no respecter of persons – MzVee

The normal online dictionaries define ‘depression’ as…In psychotherapy and psychiatry, a state of mind producing serious, long-term lowering of enjoyment of life or inability to visualize a happy future.

Popular musician and former singer from Lynx entertainment has started opening up about her depressed state for a few years ago.

The vibrant musician who thrilled patriots some time back went cold all of a sudden with no apparent reason (at least that was what we envisaged).

Like a resurrected mythical demigoddess, she is back on our screens and sharing what really transpired. She has admitted to have been deeply depressed to the extent that she thought of suicide for a couple of times.

In all the exclusive interviews she has granted, she has urged entertainers to patronise the services of psychiatrist if need be.

To her, musicians are the most pressured, trampled upon and criticised individuals on planet Earth.

Becoming depressed as a celebrity, especially in Ghana, is an unavoidable end !
