Deputy Bono East Regional Minister praises his people for staying indoors for a successful disinfection exercise in the region.
The Deputy Bono East Regional Minister Hon. Martin Oti Gyarko has commended the people in the region for their support during the disinfection exercise throughout the region on Monday 30th March 2020.
He said, the people especially, market men and women, drivers, Banks, Store operators, Nananom and the general public diligently complied with the directives by the Bono East Regional Coordinating Council to stay indoors during the disinfection exercise which ended successfully.
The Deputy Bono East Regional Minister who is also the MP for techiman north was speaking to news men after the disinfection exercise when he made this observation.
The exercise took place in all 11 Municipal and District Assemblies in the Bono East region as part of efforts to combat the spread of the Coronavirus disease.
He appealed to the general public to continue sticking to all preventive measures put in place to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus disease.
He finally advises landlords, community members, and the general public to help in preventing the spread of the disease by reporting suspected people who have travelled from outside our borders to the communities either to their Assembly members, Nananom, the Municipal or District Chief Executive of the area or the Municipal/ District Health Directorate for such people to be interrogated and quarantined to prevent the spread of the disease.
