Tobey Maguire and Tom Hardy are on board to help DiCaprio develop a film about poaching over at Warner Bros., a rep for the studio told CNN. as of now, there aren't any acting attachments lined up.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the project is being envisioned as an “animal-trafficking drama,” with the idea of creating something similar in structure to the movie “Traffic.”
The magazine adds that it's the brainchild of “Dark Knight Rises” star Hardy, who pulled his inspiration from friends serving as anti-poaching fighters in various nations.
Maguire's involvement is less clear, and a rep for the actor tells CNN that the three stars are solely in early discussions about the movie at the present time.
