Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has tipped President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s 4th televised address to the Nation on Ghana’s situation in relation to Coronavirus as powerful.
Dr. Ghebreyesus wrote on twitter applauding Ghana’s President for his address to the nation announcing a selective lockdown in Greater Accra and Kumasi.
“Thank you for sending such a powerful message to the world, my brother @NAkufoAddo, President of #Ghana. Together, for a healthier, safer, fairer world! Together against #COVID19!” Dr. Ghebreyesus tweeted.
Also, contained in the broadcast was a statement that has started trending for a while now.
The statement had something about the President indicating that his government could bring back the economy after the pandemic but can’t bring the dead back.
