DJ Black set to make third appearance in Liberia
Ghana’s number one DJ and Joy FM’s Open House Party DJ, DJ Black, is set to storm Liberia for his third major appearance in that country.
He will be participating in an official New Year’s event dubbed 2011 Jump Off billed to take place at the Déjà Vu Nite Club Saturday, January 29.
The event put together by the Déjà Vu Nite Club and Nuera Incorporated will herald entertainment activities for the year 2011 and is expected to treat revelers in the Liberian capital, Monrovia to a night of non stop music and mixes.
The DJs favorite DJ, Black, known in real life as Kwadwo Ampofo, will once again bring his magic to bear behind the turntables as he dishes out the finest music to party fans in Monrovia.
Speaking to Hitz Entertainment News, the DJ extraordinaire said, “My expectations for this 2011 Jump Off in Liberia is to be one of the hottest party’s ever because since my last time I went there, we’ve had DJs who’ve performed at the same night club from Nigeria, Bahamas and this is going to be my third appearance from Ghana so of course I need to set if off real big.”
He further said Liberia today is a fun-filled country adding “Liberians love to party…even if they have been through a lot.”
DJ Black also revealed that it was a heart-warming experience for him, during his two trips to that country, because of the relationship that exist between Liberia and most of the West African countries especially Ghana, adding that some Liberians are very in tune Ghanaian music especially Highlife music.
There will be special guest appearances by some of Liberia’s finest artistes and presenters including Victorces, Lady D and Mr Blak.
DJ Black’s first appearance was on October 9, 2009, followed by another in 2010.
