After close of audition in all participating countries for Big Brother Africa Season 8, sources say South African top Lady DJ Divalash is likely to represent South Africa in Africa’s biggest reality show, Big Brother Africa this year.
Although South Africa’s representatives have not been announced yet, information reaching Celebrity News has it that, DJ Divalash who has confirmed to us that she auditioned for the show, is likely to represent South Africa in the Big Brother Africa Season 8.
Speaking with a few people on Divalash, there was a breeze of optimism and confidence in the stylish lady DJ cum philanthropist who recently won the Best International DJ of the Year award at the Ghana DJ Awards for strongly promoting Ghana music in the south. “Divalash would bring in a lot of fun with her funky hairstyles and lashing lines”, says Tshepo.
The Big Brother show initially involved 12 countries within Africa (Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia & Zimbabwe) with two countries (Ethiopia and Mozambique) being added in season 4 and two other countries (Liberia and Sierra Leone) being added in season 7.
Each country provides a contestant living in an isolated house while trying to avoid being evicted by viewers and ultimately winning a large cash prize at the end of the show. The show is co-produced by Endemol South Africa.
