The interview herein is between DJ Sly K (interviewer) and gospel musician who doubles as a police chief, DSP Kofi Sarpong.
Born and bred in Berekum, he started singing at church grounds at a very tender age. Church leaders promoted him on channels nationwide before he became a household name.
He loves singing a lot because of his love for God and other pertinent humanitarian issues. He moves around with instrumentals who help in making the programme a reality.
Struggles in life:
He isn’t from a rich home and had to perform menial tasks for money to fend for himself.
Charges For Performance:
For corporate entities, the management sit for negotiations but with upcoming churches and leadership, they are asked to settle instrumentals who go for such programmes.
His mentors all this while have been Akwasi Amoako and the Daughters.
The singer admonished all and sundry to have faith in God and pursue their aspirations no matter the challenges.
DJ Sly K signed off by entreating listeners to visit www.ghanashowbiz.com for the wording and audio excepts.
