This interview herein is between DJ Sly K (interviwer) of Max Fm on Entertainment in the night Comfort Zone show with Evangelist Aning (interviewee).


Actual name is Kwabena Aning but uses the stage name Evangelist IK Aning. He has been in the singing industry for over 27 years. Attended school at Kumasi but now lives at Central region.


He is married with five children. Loves kids because of his love for Jesus Christ.

Initial Struggles:
He has done masonry, carpentry and even served as a palm wine tapper in the past before entering into mainstream music.

What Pushed Him Into Music:

He was part of those who established the popular Young Mission music band. Recorded his first music album in 1992.

How He Became Famous:

He has been guided by God from Day 1 and has no affiliations to any mallams or voodoo.

He has been managing himself from the onset of his music career till date.
