Listen To The Audio
This interview on Max 102.7FM dubbed “Obia wo story” on Entertainment in the night show is between DJ Sly K (Interviewer) and gospel artiste Patience Nyarko (Interviewee).
She hails from Assin Fosu. She started her singing in Junior High School and brought her first album in 2014, subsequent one in 2015 and later 2017. She has been in music for over 8 years now.
PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN SINGING:
Some financial difficulties and no laid down structures to help musicians. Sponsors are not ready to help musicians without knowing at full length what their benefits may be. Some churches have also not seen the need to pay singers who perform in their services.
REACTIONS ABOUT FAME:
She feels enthusiastic and motivated anytime she hears her songs being played. She also sees it at evangelism. She feels comfortable performing with Nigerians and other Ghanaian musicians.
Character and anointing are two different aspects of humanity. She has accepted that she worked on her quick-tempted nature when God gifted her talents.
She sees her awards as testimonies and not award schemes like VGMAs and others.
