Many students have always wondered the inventor of the idea of examination.
Social media users had over fortnights ago, posted lots of posts about the inventor of examination.
Research indicates that the following details about the invention of exams;
Henry Fischel was the first person who invented the “EXAMS”. It is believed that Henry Michel brought the Philosophy. He was a French philosopher who lectured in the U.S. and many other places. His philosophy was based on an examination of two modes of phenomena (exterior & interior).
Law students have decried why the idea of exams should be their stumbling block in life as any other student have worried about once in his or her life time. We can all recall that about 93% of those who sat for their legal exams had purportedly failed.
After this revelation, it has got a lot of eminent individuals expressing their support or disappointment over the development. The latest to add his voice to this is Former President Jerry John Rawlings. During a courtesy call on him by a reputable media outlet in his house, he had this to share;
” Why are we pretending as if we do not use our heads to think? You mean you want to blame only the students from the University of Ghana, Legon and other institutions for failing the exams?
93% of law students fail their final law exams and you don’t want to ask questions or blame the institution, the legal council or the system? Look, we shouldn’t frustrate our youths or else we will regret in our old age”.
