BET Award winning Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie is really bent on channeling his energy, his fame and influence to solving the unbearable power crisis in Ghana or at least get some answers about what is really causing the energy problems in the country currently.
Sarkodie has not hidden his frustration and how the power problem is affecting him and all Ghanaians. The “illuminati” Rapper after pouring is heart out on social media over the past few days with series of tweets and Facebook messages and joining forces with actress Yvonne Nelson for #Dumsormuststop campaign, the talented rapper has hit the studio to record a song titled-“Dumsor”, talking about the plight of Ghanaians and highlighting the sort of hardship they are currently enduring.
The song produced by Peewezel is a sample of “Lady” originally performed by Nigerian legendry Singer Fela Kuti. In his typical Rap flow, and hard hitting punchlines, Sarkodie indicted the E.C.G boss and the government over the current power crisis facing the country.
Sarkodie is expected to join actress Yvonne Nelson and other celebrities to hit the streets in protest against the ‘dumsor’ situation which keeps getting worse by the day.
