Eat Dawadawa and kontomire to prevent coronavirus – Nana Addo urges Ghanaians

need to improve our immune system during this period of COVID-19 outbreak has become more pressing, because one thing that can fight the coronavirus now is our own strong immune system.

The president has proffered a solution, he made this known during his ninth address to the nation.

 

“We have to improve our hygiene, our fitness and exercises, our eating, generally, our style of living, which will boost our immunity to disease and the virus. For instance, we are told that the key vitamins that fortify our immune system are vitamin A, B6, C, and E. Fortunately for us, in Ghana, all of these can be found in many of our foods such as oranges, kontomire, millet, cashew nuts, crabs, plantain, okra, dawadawa, brown rice and mushrooms.
