Ghana will be going to polls to choose 275 Members of Parliament and a president of the Republic of Ghana on 7th December, 2020.
Two of the leading political parties have been actively campaigning across the country even amidst the presence of the deadly coronavirus, they are holding big rallies and engaging large crowds.
The opposition National Democratic Congress and its Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama have accused the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Mensah of attempting to rig the elections for the resident, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo.
At a prayer service organized by the EC ahead of the polls, the chairperson committed the elections into the hand of Jesus Christ to ensure that the election is peaceful, violent free, glorious, timely, orderly, wonderful, excellent victorious and successful.
She said “As the Chairperson of the Commission, I declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God that the 2020 Elections shall be peaceful, violent free, glorious, timely, orderly, wonderful, excellent victorious and successful so help us God”.
