Eddie Watson And Eddie Nartey Direct Their first Movie Together

The two movie stars Eddie Nartey and Watson have decided to co-Direct a movie which reflects on the love of mothers for their children this is the first time their directing together. The movie is entitled SHE PRAYED which they stated shooting on Friday 9^th of May.

The movie Stars actors like Pascaline Edwards, Yvonne Nelson, Christable Ekeh, Charlotte Derban and may others. The date for the movie is yet to be given but it will be ready in some months and premiered later this year.

This is the First Time Eddy Watson is directing a movie but not for Eddie Nartey who has experience.Eddie Nartey, is a Ghanaian actor, director, and producer. His supporting role in Frank Rajah’s Somewhere In Africa earned him a nomination at the Hollywood and African Film Critics’ Awards (NAFCA), Ghana movie awards. He was nominated in the best actor category for Kiss Me If You Can.

He has acted in several films, some of which include; Wedlock of the Gods, Return Of Beyonce, Crime To Christ, In The Eyes Of My Husband, Gallery of Comedy, Passion and Soul, Girls Connection, Agony of the Christ, Ties That Bind, The King Is Mine 1&2, Somewhere In Africa 1&2, Tears Of Womanhood 1&2, Pool Party 1&2,The Silent Writer, Last Battle, Intimate Battle 1&2, Believe Me, Testing The Waters, Love & Crime.

Eddie Samuel Obong Watson Jr. is a Liberian-born Ghanaian actor and producer. He has received a Ghana Movie Award (GMA), a Liberian Entertainment Award (LEA), three Golden Icon Academy Awards (GIAMA) Nominations and one Nollywood & African Films Critics Awards (NAFCA) Nomination. He received his Ghana Movie Award in 2014 for his film EBOLA which he wrote, directed and produced.

Watson’s professional acting career started in 2010 with Labour of Love. He later went on the same year to star in the African war movie, Somewhere in Africa, where he had multiple roles. Costar Majid Michel suggested Watson to the director, Frank Rajah, for the role of a new character being introduced in the sequel (4Play Reloaded) of the already popular 4Play by Venus Films. Some other movies he has starred in are Reason to Kill, Single Six, Desperate Heart. With movies like Single & Married in 2012, House of Gold, Letters to My Mother and Purple Rose in 2013, Watson wrote, produced and directed the short film, EBOLA, Bachelors, Sister at War, Purple Rose and Jack & Jill.
