Efya Is Bigger Than Alicia Keys

Twitter fans of soul vocalist singer Efya have expressed reservation about comments by artiste, Mutombo de poet, which seems to suggest that Efya is better than the American based singer, Alicia keys.

Mutombo on Thursday August 6 took to Twitter to express his excitement about Eyfa’s new single “Jorley” featuring Ghana’s fastest rapper Sakordie, and by so doing compared Efya with the “No One” singer.

“Efya for example, dey always dance to American tracks, do we see these stars happy about this? To me Efya is bigger than Alicia!”, he wrote.

His comments, however, did not sit well with some Twitter users and fans of Efya, arguing that Efya comes nowhere near Alicia in terms of appeal, exposure and success.

However, it appears Mutombo’s post did Efya some good as it got her trending on social media.
