Residents of Ejisu, a suburb of Kumasi are engaging in fist exchanges over food the government is giving them.
The government of Ghana is feeding some 400,000 people who are affected by the lockdown imposed by the president. They started doing this last week in Accra and have extended it to Kumasi which is also part of the lockdown areas.
The amateur video was filmed by a citizen and circulated on social media.
A commentary that was being run by the person who took the video had it that the young boys were ceasing the food from the old women to give to their girlfriend.
That triggered the pandemonium since the old people could not further tolerate any form of abuse.
