Electoral Area Coordinators In Effutu Submit AFENYO-MARKIN
The group, consisting of all the 18 Electoral Area Coordinators, was led by their chairman, Tom Peter Paintsil.
Delivering the filled forms to the Constituency officers, Chairman Paintsil expressed their delight to have such a hardworking Member of Parliament.
‘Effutu is on the global map due to our MP. Alex has done more than anyone before him in the anal history of Effutu. Roads, community centers, health centers, schools, libraries and other amenities are scattered across the Constituency, thanks to Alex. The little we can do to show appreciation is to do this for him’ he stressed.
It could be recalled that about two weeks ago, polling station executives, electoral area coordinators and other party members thronged the constituency’s office to pick nomination forms for Honourable Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin.
Oblivious of the move, Honourable Afenyo-Markin expressed surprise at the gesture when the people ‘ambushed’ him with his forms.
Having satisfied all the necessary requirements in the filling of the forms, the Coordinators thought it ideal to lead in the submission of the forms.
The Effutu Member of Parliament is going unopposed as no one could pick the nomination forms to contest the incumbent MP in the parliamentary primaries of the party.
