Expect More From Me – Okyeame Kwame

With five nominations to his credit in the 14th annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he envisions of taking the world by storm with his upcoming music video “Woara”. To him, Ghanaians should “expect more”.

“I want my valued viewers to think of art, symbolism and impressionism in anticipation of my upcoming video”, which is to be officially premiered on YouTube and Google+ on Monday, 4th March, 2013 says Okyeame Kwame, who is also known as Rap Doctor.

The video is an embodiment of what “I really mean by walking away from love”, he states. It seeks to, as the music depicts, take the viewer into understanding that expecting so much of a partner or making unrealistic promises leads to disappointments in relationships.

The versatile artiste is however of the view that we “must understand that if our relationships are not working it does not mean it is same with all other relationships”.

He however advice that confusions experienced at our various homes should not be taken into the office as its recurring effect can be interfere with our performances at work.

The video was produced by one of Ghana’s ace video makers, Abraham Ohene Gyan of Ohenemedia.
