Female Viagra will reduce rape cases in Ghana – A Plus

imagesControversial Ghanaian Hip Life artiste, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known in showbiz as A- Plus has called on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to permit the female libido enhancement drug also known as “Female Viagra” into the country.

According to him, the introduction of Flibanserin, marketed as Addyi, into Ghana will help reduce the number of rape cases, especially marital.

Following the approval of a female form of libido enhancing drug Viagra in America by USA Food and Drugs Administration and other health regulators, A- Plus has added his voice to the call for the pink pill to be approved in Ghana.

He explained that, the female viagra will boost the sexual desire of a lot of Ghanaian women who normally refuse to give in to men during sexual intercourse.

“It is not that relationships are boring in Ghana, but a lot of men force their partners into bed so when the FDA allows it in Ghana, it will help build strong relationships and reduce the high rate of rape cases in the country” he said.

The “Agye Gon” hit maker speaking on Hitz FM’s Gallery show Thursday said, the female viagra will strengthen a lot of relationships because it will boost the sexual desire of women who fail to achieve orgasm during sex.

“Sex is meant to be pleasurable but a lot of females don’t really enjoy it, so when they take the drug they will enjoy sex which will end up strengthening their relationships” he added.

A-Plus called on the FDA to enforce the law if approval is given for its usage in Ghana to prevent abuse.

“It should be guided by law so that users will use it consciously…the law should prevent people from secretly putting it in drinks for women to drink” he stressed
