Final funeral rites for Forestry Commission CEO, Sir John revealed.
The family members, sympathizers, cohorts, and leadership as well as the rank and file of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), will pay their last respect to the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission – Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John next two months.
The late NPP stalwart and statesman will be laid to rest at his hometown, Sakora Wonoo, in the Ashanti Region on October 29, 2020, according to a burial notice making rounds.
The demise of Mr. Afriyie which occurred on July 1, 2020, shocked the entire nation. He was on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) in Accra before he kicked the bucket.
Sir John is the originator of his own catchphrase or jargon, “Fear Delegates” which has become a very popular terminology in the Ghanaian political circles.
