Francis Amo told Adom News that prior to the album launch, he and his team embarked on a praise walk dubbed “Ngooba Praise Walk” on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 to sensitize the public about the launch.
He said “Ngooba” is a Fante word, actually used by fisher folks of Cape Coast in Ghana as a chant song when they are on the high seas.
“But for the purpose of this album the word was adopted to mean “born to praise,” he said. “It is also a reflection of my humble beginnings – having experienced life in fishing vessels on the high seas.”
The “Ngooba” album launch is slated for Sunday, October 26 at the auditorium of Liberty Assemblies of God, Lapaz at 4pm prompt.
It would feature gospel artists such as Selina Boateng, Joe Mettle, Eugene Zuta, Ohemaa Mercy, Kofi Sarpong, and Empraise Incorporation.
Tickets for the show are fast running out for GHC10 at various outlets including Joy FM, Sunny FM, Sweet Melodies FM, Liberty Assemblies of God, Action Chapel International- Adenta Branch, and P.I.W.C. Dansoman.
