Freddyma Recounts His Past Experience With DrPaaBobo “Unpredictable life”

Unpredictable life.
In 1982,the late Dr Paa Bobo came to my hometown Agogo Ash Akim with his band for a performance.Osorbrokyere’s album had just been released and was trending all over. I decided to watch the performance at our local community centre but had no money, so I struck an acquaintance with the keyboardist by fetching water for him to bath and also ironed his costume for the show. He asked me to hide behind the stage and advised that i come to the main auditorium when there is enough audience. As I was about to enter, then comes Dr Paa Bobo.He asked me of my stamp in my palm to indicate that I had passed through the right source to enter. I had none but explained that my admittance was advanced by the keyboardist.I was shown the exit and really felt bad.
Now years later, Paa Bobo, needed a studio session badly with a specific keyboard, KORG M1 to do his programming .It was so urgent that we were only 4 people having that keyboard in Ghana.Myself,Kojo Antwi,Nana Boamah and the late Nana Danso Abeam.
He had to fall on me for that urgent recordings.I made sure i charge him heavily and he was ready to pay.
Revenge time? It was after he had paid me and whilst session was in progress that i revealed myself.He felt so ashamed and remorseful about the humiliation he put me through that 1982 night.
Really,LIFE IS UNPREDICTABLE.
Learn to treat people with respect. You might laugh at the wrong side of your mouth.
