Free The Jailed Pastors To Show That You’re Not A Hypocrite – Prez. Akufo-Addo Told

The media space got wind of how some pastors were thrown into jail in April for flouting the Coronavirus restrictions on attending or organizing a church service.

A pastor has started a campaign on social media that what happened was unfortunate but just as the president has found a place in his heart to forgive his own party members who clearly flouted the same restrictions during their Parliamentary primaries on 20/06/2020, it is only fair that he extends the same courtesy to the jailed pastors whose offence fall in the same category.

The man of God revealed this on his Facebook timeline.

The man of God wrote;

“We are still calling on His excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to pardon the three pastors jailed in April for flouting the COVID 19 restrictions.
What happened was unfortunate but just as the president has found a place in his heart to forgive his own party members who clearly flouted the same restrictions, it is only fair that he extends the same courtesy to the jailed pastors.
Mr. President, it’s time to live up to your hard won reputation as a defender of the voiceless!
