GH One Television Disappoints Viewers

Event organizers and owners of the entertainment TV station GH One, Charter House, left the viewers in the ditch after failing to telecast the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Nominee Jam which took place in Koforidua on Saturday.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) organizers had earlier promised persons who for one reason or the other would not be able to make it to Koforidua for the VGMAs Nominee Jam to stay in the comfort of their homes and tune in to GH One on Saturday at 8pm, for a live telecast of the event.

“This year’s edition of the VGMA Nominees Jam promises to be an unforgettable exciting experience that music lovers cannot afford to miss and will be aired live on GH-One Entertainment TV,” a statement issued by the Communications Department of Charter House read.

Several of their viewers could not help but blast the organizers on social platforms Facebook.com and Twitter.com, with one commenting, “GH One if u know u won’t show that Nominee Jams stop showing us music videos.”

Charter House issued an apology in a form of crawlers which suggested that they were still working on the feed.

Several viewers stayed glued to their sets throughout the night waiting for the station to air the event but it did not happen. The viewers are still waiting for a formal explanation from Charter House.
