Gh One TV off air as camera technicians declare strike over unpaid salaries



In an affirmation to the current harsh economic times that the media is facing, GHOne TV’s camera key workers blatantly refused to work yesterday.

The camera technicians who showed up at work boycotted the station’s breakfast show and other renowned programmes.

Credible sources at GHOne TV, a subsidiary of the EIB Network say its Chief Executive – Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, earlier on went into a critical meeting with the employees to resolve the issue at hand.

The workers are protesting because of unpaid salaries. “Theghanareport.com” unveiled this exclusive infor to Ghanashowbiz.Com that made all and sundry to understand that some of the employees are owed up to six months salary arrears.

The company has seen most of its employees like Berla Mundi and other notable stars resign over poor working conditions. They recently lost a devoted female worker that has made Bola Ray quite worried. The TV station has produced award-winning reporters with its brand of accurate journalism that combines news, investigative pieces and entertainment.
