The world is at the war front with the invisible but fiercest enemy identified as COVID-19. All countries are doing their possible best to subdue the spread of this troublesome virus.
Ghana has attained a global recognition because of the measures authorities have put in place in the fight against the Novel Coronavirus.
The country has been identified among five other countries with the most innovative and effective plans in the management of this global pandemic.
This was made known by the Chairman of Risk Communication and social mobilization committee for Ghana’s COVID-19 Response team, Dr. Dacosta Aboagye, who joined a Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, to participate in a virtual meeting of World Health Organization (WHO) – Africa held by Webinar a few days ago..
The meeting was addressed by the WHO Africa Representative, Dr Matshidiso Moeti, and had African Health ministers and/or their representatives and major stakeholders in attendance.
