Ghana likely to record a 3rd Coronavirus case…

During today’s version of News File on Joy News, Host Samson Anyennini had a phone in from one of his colleagues at Labadi Beach Resort who unveiled that Ghana has had a third Coronavirus case. According to the reporter, the third person who has just tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus is a Miner who just flew in from a yet to be announced country.

The Coronavirus has become a very severe infectious menace that has caused enough fear and panic and continues to do so. The World Health Organization has resolved to support affected countries with USD15M and the World Bank is willing to give out USD12B to all affected countries whose health systems are not modernized enough. The Government of Ghana has also put aside USD100M to fight the epidemic.

For the meantime, we are all advised to observe the following precautionary measures:

Clean hands frequently with alcohol-based hand rub (sanitizer) or soap and water.

Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow.

Avoid close contact (1 metre or 3 feet) with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
