Ghana Police And NCCE Collaborate To Safeguard Political Stability Ahead Of Dec 7.

The Chairman of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Ms. Josephine Nkrumah and her entourage have called on the Ghana Police Administration at the National Police Headquarters, to outline activities drawn by the NCCE for this year’s election for better collaboration with the Police Service.

Representing the Inspector-General of Police at the meeting, Director-General Administration, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare stated that, the meeting was timely as it gave room for sharing ideas and creating the atmosphere for access to each other with the view of ensuring that nothing disrupts the peace and security being enjoyed in the country.

COP Dr. Dampare was with COP Mr. George Mensah, COP Mr. Redeemer Dedjoe, COP Mr. Boadu Peprah, ACP Mr. Joseph Owusu and the Director of Public Affairs Supt Sheilla Abayie-Buckman.

The NCCE team also comprised of the Chairman, Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah, Kathleen Addy, Mrs. Philomina Abena Anyidoho, Mrs. Joyce Benedicta Afutu and Mr Johnson Opoku.

Among other things, all measures underway to ensure a peaceful moments before, during and after the Presidential and Parliamentary General Elections were also discussed.
