Ghana Police open Course on Election Violence and Related Security Issues

An opening ceremony for a 5-day course on Election Violence and Security has been held at the Kofi Annan International PeaceKeeping Training Center, Accra this week.

The Director-General Administration, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare who opened the Course on behalf of the Inspector -General of Police stated that, the course will aid, enhance and broaden the knowledge of participants on Electoral Cycle, Conflict Management, Human Rights, Operational Order Management and Community Policing as we prepare them to provide maximum security for the 7 December 2020 polls.

Present at the ceremony were the Commandant of the KAIPKC, Maj .Gen Francis Ofori, and the Representative of the German Ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Moritz Fischer.
