The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ghana Police service, DSP Cephas Arthur, has promised that the Ghana Police service will launch an investigation into the video that has gone viral on social media which shows the Founder and Leader of the Gods way international church, Bishop Daniel Obinim flogging two teenage members of his church for allegedly engaging in fornication.

According to sources, the two lovers had engaged in an illicit affair which resulted in a pregnancy that was aborted by the two. The two were brought before the furious Obinim who whipped them with a belt in full view of other church members.

Speaking in an interview on Citi Fm, a local radio station in Ghana, Cephas Arthur describes the act as an abuse of the rights of the two teenagers and said the Domestic Violence and Victims support Unit (DOVVSU) will take up the matter.
