Ghana records 695 new COVID-19 cases; total now 26,125
The world keeps suffering from the Novel Coronavirus pandemic. Ghana has now recorded 695 new cases of COVID-19, according to the newest information from the Ghana Health Service.
In a press briefing today July 16, 2020, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, noted that the new cases are as a result of a backlog from 12th June to 12th July.
However, the country’s fatalities stand at 139.
8 persons according to the Ghana Health Service are in critical condition, 25 severely ill, 22,270 recovered and discharged with 3,716 active cases.
